Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

This document summarizes the terms of use and data practices for WaMe.dev tools.

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using WaMe.dev, you accept these terms and agree to use the tool in accordance with applicable laws and third-party platform policies. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

2. Service provided

WaMe.dev lets you generate WhatsApp links, predefined messages, QR codes and embeddable HTML buttons. Links open a WhatsApp conversation with the phone number and message defined by the user.

3. Independence from WhatsApp and Meta

WaMe.dev is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, sponsored, approved or endorsed by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms INC. or their subsidiaries.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for the messages, numbers, links, QR codes and buttons you generate. You must not use WaMe.dev for spam, fraud, illegal activity, impersonation, harassment or any use that violates third-party rights.

5. Use license

WaMe.dev grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the tool under these terms. You may not resell, copy, modify, decompile or commercially exploit the service as your own platform without authorization.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or remove features at any time. We may also update these terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements or operational adjustments.

7. Third-party services

Some features may depend on external services, such as WhatsApp or QR generators. WaMe.dev does not control those services and does not guarantee their availability, continuity, API changes or future policies.

8. Ownership of generated content

Links, messages, QR codes and snippets generated with your data are your responsibility and for your use. WaMe.dev retains rights over the tool, design, code, brand and proprietary materials.

9. Limitation of liability

WaMe.dev is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, interruptions, business damages, data loss or consequences arising from use or inability to use the service.

Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how WaMe.dev may collect, use, protect and share information when you visit or use our web tools.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect information you voluntarily enter, such as phone numbers, messages, forms, email addresses or account data if registration features exist. We may also collect technical data such as IP address, device, browser, language, visited pages and basic analytics activity.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate the tool, generate links and QR codes, improve the experience, maintain security, respond to requests, process transactions if applicable and analyze site performance.

4. WhatsApp messages and data

WaMe.dev generates WhatsApp-compatible links, but does not read your WhatsApp conversations or access messages sent inside WhatsApp. The predefined message is placed in the URL so WhatsApp can display it before sending.

5. Cookies and local storage

We may use cookies or local storage to remember preferences, improve functionality, measure usage and maintain security. You can block cookies in your browser, although some features may stop working correctly.

6. Providers and third parties

We may use trusted providers for hosting, analytics, security, payment processing, support or technical functions. These providers should only access information needed to provide their services.

7. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely infallible. We cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access, technical failures or events beyond our control.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or improve the tool. When no longer needed, we may delete or anonymize it.

9. User rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability or objection to processing of your personal data. Some requests may require identity verification.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service, providers or legal requirements. Continued use of WaMe.dev after an update means acceptance of the current version.
